Artist' Statement

"Portraits are my favorite subject to do, especially the eyes. I have heard the expression that “the eyes are the windows to the soul” many times, and that may be why I enjoy portraits so much. I have a Christian worldview that people/souls are all that truly matter in the scope of eternity. Catching life and personality in the eyes is my goal for each portrait. People have always intrigued/interested me, and I hope that never ends."
